Amazon Germany (Amazon.de) is the largest Amazon marketplace in Europe by revenue. US sellers expanding to Europe often start with Germany because of market size, high purchasing power, and Amazon's strong infrastructure there.
To sell on Amazon.de, you need a European seller account, VAT registration in Germany (or use Amazon's VAT service), and either EU-stored inventory in Amazon's German FCs or cross-border shipping from a US warehouse.
EU FBA prep requirements are similar to US FBA but have additional requirements around CE marking for electronics, WEEE compliance for electrical goods, and German-language labeling for certain product categories.
Shipping from South Florida to Germany via air freight takes 2–4 business days via DHL or Lufthansa Cargo routes. A Florida 3PL can prep inventory for Amazon.de and dispatch directly to German FCs in the same workflow as US FBA.
