Before inventory leaves a prep center, confirm: correct FNSKU label on every unit, poly bagging on applicable items with suffocation warning, bubble wrap on fragile SKUs, and carton weight under 50 lbs unless marked Team Lift.
Check your shipment plan in Seller Central for any category-specific requirements. Apparel, footwear, liquids, and glass each have separate packaging rules that override the standard prep workflow.
Carton labels must include the shipment ID, carton number, and carrier information. A mislabeled outer carton causes receiving issues even if every unit inside is perfectly prepped.
Confirm expiration dates are visible on applicable products. Amazon requires at minimum 90 days remaining shelf life at time of receipt — less than that triggers removal orders.
