Standard FBA prep pricing covers receiving, FNSKU labeling, basic packaging (poly bag if needed), carton labeling, and staging for outbound. Additional services like repackaging, kitting, bubble wrap, and pallet builds are typically quoted separately.
Per-unit rates vary by volume. Most prep centers charge $2.00–$2.50 per unit for standard prep at low volume and $1.50–$1.75 at higher volume. Rate breaks typically kick in at 200, 500, and 1,000+ units.
Watch for receiving fees. Some prep centers charge a separate receiving fee per carton or pallet in addition to the per-unit prep rate. This can add $0.20–$0.50 per unit on top of the stated price.
Storage fees are usually separate from prep fees. If your inventory sits at the prep center before or after prepping, ask about the daily or monthly storage rate and whether there is a minimum.
