FBA removal orders happen when you choose to pull inventory out of Amazon's network — either because it is slow-moving, nearing expiration, or you need to repackage it before re-sending.
When removed inventory arrives at your address or 3PL, it may come back in mixed-condition cartons that need to be sorted, inspected, and processed before it can be resold or re-sent to FBA.
A 3PL can receive removal order returns, sort by condition, relabel for re-entry into FBA, repackage damaged units, or dispose of unsellable items — turning a removal order from a loss into a recovery workflow.
Route removal orders directly to your 3PL rather than your home or office. The 3PL has the space and process to handle them efficiently, whereas individual returns to a home address create an inventory management problem.
