All apparel sold on Amazon must be in a poly bag or sealed packaging. The bag must have a suffocation warning for bags with openings over 5 inches. Loose apparel shipped without bagging will be refused at receiving.
FNSKU labels for apparel should be placed on the outside of the poly bag in a visible, scannable position — not folded under the item or placed on the tag inside the bag.
Some apparel categories also require hang tags or specific folding to meet dimension requirements. If your product arrives at the prep center flat-packed but should be hang-shipped, make sure the spec is clear before work begins.
At a prep center handling apparel at volume, the workflow needs to separate SKUs by size and color before bagging. Mixed or mislabeled apparel batches are one of the most common causes of FBA receiving errors.
